Lacrosse
Charlestown Lacrosse & Learning Center is proud to be the oldest and only lacrosse program in the City of Boston that offers lacrosse to players from kindergarten through twelfth grade. In the spring of 2008 deBeer/Gait, one of the leading lacrosse manufacturers in the world, chose CLLC as their only fully sponsored youth lacrosse program in New England. Thanks to deBeer/Gait’s generosity, all of our athletes have the opportunity to play lacrosse with the same equipment used by top college programs and the US National Team.
As the only program in the city of Boston that works with K-12 on developing their skill of lacrosse, CLLC is able to introduce the game and retain talent for several years. We have seen talent blossom to the point where our 7th and 8th Grade teams have become an incredibly competitive program and strong numbers at the younger levels are expected to see continued growth and development for years to come. Our players are taught to not only play hard on the field but to respect themselves, their teammates, coaches and officials.
CLLC is the proud home of four 2008 City Chamapionships. Our youth girls' teams swept the Battle of Bunker Hill tournament (grades 3 - 8) in June while the 7th and 8th Grade boys remained undefeated for 2008 to claim their first City Championship. We look forward to defending these titles in 2009. FIRE UP!
